Instead of putting out water at 4000 psi on to surfaces and risking breaking or tearing them, soft washing applies chemical at 75-100 psi, which is low enough to put your hand in front of. Soft washing also last much longer than pressure washing. This is because the chemical kills all of the organics on the surfaces, instead of just using pressure to get rid of what you can see. Generally soft washing will last 2-3 times longer than only pressure washing.
